Aust. Day celebrations.

So every year, my SES Unit help set up and keep safe the Garason Point fireworks display, put on by our local Council. Of the 3 times I've been I've had the K10D for the last 2. This year was cloudy and windy and drizzling rain, which I have to say, does not bode well for photographic ops

Here's the best of a bad bunch... (relatively speaking)... Hope you enjoY!

Great series of fireworks! A little too much smoke though.

Add a layer of fill in Black colour. It might reduce the smoke problems.

Fireworks are a tough subject - I think these are very good. Well done.

roen... had a fiddle with a black fill layer but it didn't do much to improve it
