Avalon Airshow

I was lucky enough to go along to the recent airshow at Avalon near Melbourne.

The theory was a number of forum members would met up. One by one they fell by the wayside, so that I was the last person standing. In between working on a stand, and looking at the weed survey capabilities of UAVs, I managed a couple of shots.

Purple Cobras doing their thing on an evening with very high humidity and detail on a Stinson Reliant.

Wow, love that first shot, the use of the silhouettes, capturing the contrails, the processing...Nicely done!

The first shot really has that atmosphere to it. Great capture on that one, Dale

Thanks for the comments. The next couple of days I missed, tents blew away, planes flipped and smashed in strong winds. The organisers put some effort into real life drama.

Nice shots, I think the first is great. Nice capture of those fast moving planes
