Grand trees

These two birches were fantastic subjects for exploring my smc takumar 1:1.8 55 mm lens. Spring is coming to Sweden, so it gives a opportunity for exploring life returning. The "bokeh" is really amazing. Experimented as a result of finally getting my pentax-manufactured screwmount adapter. Before, I coulden't focus properly. But that is not an issue now.

Excellent color! Though they seem a tad underexposed, the second moreso.

Thanks. I wanted for them to be a little underexposed. As a personal choice. But I think that your comment SuperJared made me think again about the second photo. I increased it's brightness just slightly for it to match the first one.

That's the virtue of digital and constructive critisism. You made me look on them again from a different angle. So thanks.

Duh_Vinci:
I am no expert on the family. But I am thinking that it may be a European White Birch. Or maybe a tree that are very closely related to the white birch, yes. It strikes me as a little different in structure. But since I'm no expert, I can only guess.
