Very nice. Did you HDR this a bit? The detail on the steeple against the bright background is well done.

Thanks! No HDR involved. I metered from the clouds and did just some minor curves and color adjustment in Silkypix.

A bit background information. The photo is taken a mere 20 minutes drive from my hometown Heidelberg in SW Germany. The place is called Dilsberg. It is nowadays a tiny village on top of a hill, with remnants of medieval fortress (dating back to 13th century). There is basically only one wall of the fortress left, where it is possible to climb up and from there I took the shot. You can see here the varied lanscape of the Odenwald nature park, whith small forest covered hills and small villages. Luckily this presents numerous possibilities for nature photography. I'd be glad to show you around if you happen to come here.
