I took many photos as usual when I visited there again a few weeks ago, but this is my favourite of the day. Subtle, no famous landmarks, and a sense of solitude in an otherwise crowded city.

One of my tubes of watercolor paint is called Venetian Yellow. Depending on how thick you make it and how you apply it, it has hues from pale yellow to a near rosy color. I love the sublty of it just as you caught this understated and subtle off the beaten track view of Venice.
