Family Mexican Riviera Cruise!

Ok, here are the pictures some here asked that I post, I had to go through over 2500 of them and weeded out if not the best, at least ones that tell something about the week. Lots of pictures of the Kids since these albums will also go to family.

This was from our Cruise over Spring Break in the Mexican Riviera on the Carnival Spirit out of San Diego. This is the first time we brought the kids. Jacob age 7, James 11, Jared 17 (turned 18 after the Cruise, bummed since drinking age in Mexico is 18!) and JT 19. We visited 3 ports (Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and La Paz) and had a blast. (Though we prefer the Caribbean) The kids all enjoyed it, the young ones had fun in the camps, the 11yr was hardly ever seen, the oldest two enjoyed the killer food. Only Sunburn was to Son #2, seems the brand new tube of SPF15 was bad, he got bad sunburn on the 1st sea day, rest of us used SPF 8 or 50 and were fine.

When you have two Camera nuts with new DSLR’s, you take a lot of Photo’s! I shot with my K200d, my oldest Son with his new White K-M. Due to the time, they have minimal post processing, but some are pretty decent. The pictures are 1600x1200 in the albums, so you can hit the little magnifying glass icon to see them full size. The links are below….

698 Pics or so….2 albums.

#2 Picasa Web Albums - JETninja - Cruise '09 #2

Taken by Son #1 & I….best way to tell them apart is water & sky on mine are bluer and greener and more vibrant due to the polarizing filters I use….(he means to get some soon!)

Cheers!

Good gosh there are a boatload of photos. Some real nice ones looks like a fun time. We went to the Mayan Riveria in Feb for two weeks with an extended family and friends trip and I agree the Caribbean side is soo much nicer water. I took about 2k shots as well haha. My son was also 17 and he only got carded at one place for drinking .. then again he is 6" and 218lbs

Ha Ha....none of mine will ever be that big! (that tall, but we be skinny!)

Yeah, Mexico has not changed much since Wife and I were there in '85. La Paz is the exception, quiet, almost no one trying to sell you something, and far far away from everything. Met some american retirees that love it....
