Very nice! Normally hot spots do not work well in macro shots but the white below the flower here actually produces a nice effect!

Did you PP the background or did the lens do the job?

Yes, very nice. If you try to sharpen the image, you will destroy the bokeh.

The Tammy 70-200 is pretty popular with the users on this site. I have been tinkering with the idea of getting one, but am not sure If I would get used to the bulk. Don't get me wrong, it is no bulkier than the competition. It is just a lot bigger than anything in my current kit!

Can't argue with the results though. It is one sweet lens.

The trick is to own and use a Bigma (or bigger) at some point - it really resets your perception of lens size .

Wonderfull shot you have given me new ideas to try with mine. I agree that is one sweet lens and also agree with Josh - pick up the Bigma and cruise in a crowded area

I like my Tammy 70-200 f2.8
When I walk on street with Tammy and K10D+Grip, its like a weapon. People look at me and my Tammy. They a bit scared and thus let me pass without promlems.
Once I visited one celebration, and with Tammy I got into PROTOCOL area, without any permission.I got tammy and everyone who see me, think that Im PRESS Agent.
