Oriole (Avian) (Two Images)

I think these are Baltimore Orioles. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, two pair of these beautiful birds paid a visit to my back deck today. I was able to grab a few shots through the window...they spook very easily. These were taken handheld with the K10D and DA 55-300mm @ 300mm and were cropped 50%. EXIF info should be intact. Comments always appreciated, and thanks for looking.

Very nice indeed. The background blur really emphasizes the color of the bird. Good work!

Very nice Scott, the orange of the bird in the patch of light background work great together.

Very nice work. Striking with orange-black against the light green background.

Nice shots. Wonderful colors. The Baltimore Orioles baseball club's colors are orange and
black. The first shot looks like a reverse of the bird on their caps.

Those shots are truly spectacular. The colours are awesome. For a "budget" lens the 55-300 does do too badly at all. I enjoy it, anyway

Thank you Gary and JMR. The distant trees in the background worked out well, and I was pleasantly surprised with the 55-300's bokeh.

Interesting observation on the baseball caps 9thumbs. If I could just get a good closeup shot of a cardinal, I could start a baseball mascot series. Thanks for looking and commenting.
