A few holiday snaps from Capri

Hi,

Got back from a holiday in Sorrento recently and had a trawl through all the photos taken, there are quite alot!

All these shots are taken on or around Capri, a small island next to the bay of Naples. We hired a little speedboat that we could drive ourselves around the island on, took about 2 hours.

Inside Grotto Azzura or Blue Grotto. The water is actually that colour! (shame about the oar but never mind)


Back on land and looking down one of the sheer cliffs at the shorleline.


And finally looking back across the water to the Sorrento peninsula, It was very hazy!



There are many more but these are some of the better ones. I still have to get through all the shots of Vesuvius, Pompei, Herculanium, Naples, Sorrento and the Amalfi coast!! Going to take a while

I hate to be 'Euro-ignorant' but I have no clue as to where Capri is located. That said, it would appear to be a lovely, secluded place to take a vacation. I especially like the second to last picture looking straight down to the sea below. Gorgeous view!

Capri is the pearl of the Mediteranean. In the bay of Naples, Italy. One of the most beautiful places I have seen in my life.

Amazing set of pictures, bringing back memories. I dream of going back to Capri one day. Thanks for sharing!
