And we all know that he's won more races than any other car out there.

I have seen several Bugs, approaching the 300hp mark So that one may have more power than you realize.

But then again who knows what it has under the hood...

I've seen a VW bug with a Porsche 911 engine and tranny ar a car show a few years ago... but the guy kept the exterior almost stock. Talk about a sleeper when taking off at traffic lights.

No PS used in this one Scott. A mate had a VW dedicated garage and used to whack some interesting motors into some machines. Hmmm I might have to track him down and see if the garage is still going, might be worthy of an interesting VW series dedicated to Herbie.
Compensating for engine envy perhaps Gus?
