Lair O' The Bear Park shots

After my work week in Denver concluded, I met up with Marc Sabatella and we spent an enjoyable afternoon shooting at one of the Jefferson County Open Space Parks. Cloudy, overcast light, lots of birds and flowers, a few fishermen....

Alright! Do I get bonus points for actually using the monopod I brought along?

Nice shots, and it was great meeting up with you! Here's a few of my shots:

Nice pics ther fellas. I've been wanting to check out that park lately myself, but with all the rain have held off.

If you guys plan any more meet ups I'd been interested in tagging along if I could.

Sure, here's some points! Your pics of the birds turned out really nicely. Mine were busts, kept getting them with motion blur (probably the difference between your glass & mine...). Love the dandelion shot! But who's that crazy-lookin' fella with a vest full of stuff?

We did have a good outing, and it was fun to actually poke around someplace like that park with another photographer instead of an impatient family who wanted to get around hte next bend...

End of March 2010 is my next currently scheduled trip out there, or the first week of June. The more the merrier! We should get a group meet set up in advance next time around... This one was kinda ad-libbed.
