one flash one model

ok so not what you expected

Playing around at home with my bosses achiever 115a, a homemade snoot and a pop can. Thought the background was kind of cool, I used bulb mode in pitch black, did one flash for the can and another for the background. I used a flat kitchen utensil with slots in it that you use to flip things (why the hell can I not think of what thats called?)

Anyway, just thought i'd share, bored stuck at home lately so I thought i'd try to learn something new.

hehe I know the feeling, I have been flashing all kinds of stuff at home, anything I can find lying around. altho I normally just delete the shots in camera afterwards as they are nothing to save.

I havent done a lot of light painting but this is a good example showing you can do a lot with just 1 flash as long as its off camera

I think the word you are looking for is "spatula". Or, as my wife likes to call it..."the egg turner".

Actually it's a lifter or turner, not a spatula. A spatula is typically made of all wood, or has a rubber end to it. Spatula's are what you would use to spread icing on a cake (for reference).
