K20D does have the cropping room for using longer lens with long min focusing length. I have cropped out like 80% to get this. And instead of using longer lens , I may get away with more cropping room.
This is my attempt with a very common bird (with A300mmF4)








It is a juvenile RWBB. Hopping mad I believe

Thanks Jim. A few days later I took another one also with A300mmF4 . Just as dim as the earlier one was

Very nice

The 'old' A300 continues to amaze me

I wish more within our community can post pictures taken with their 'old' rare

lenses here

Some of these are so good, I am sure they never should retire
