Hi everyone,

Tried my hand at shooting water drops 2 nights ago. Here are just a few samples of what I got.

additionally...how did you get the shadow behind your pictures? did you upload one big picture where its your shot with a shadow over a white background or is it some basic HTML i don't know?

Last one looks like a fist coming out of the water, and second last like a head (OK a wierd one) poking up out of the water.

The drop shadow is part of the image added in post-processing...

Nice shots I tried this too but only have the 35mm macro so couldn't get close enough for splashes but I did get shots of the tap dripping etc:

First two are "time warp", fifth and sixth would be a "Terminator".

Hi, Garrett, I saw your post yesterday and decided to try this out for myself. It's a LOT harder than it looks, and i couldn't get anywhere near the colors you got. I ended up switching from water to milk. Mine ended up looking a lot more alien than anything.

I watched the video you linked to and will give the water another go tomorrow - having a steady flow will make all the difference, I think.
