San Francisco 2009 Gay Pride Parade pictures (NSFW)
Posted by madbrain, 06-29-2009, 02:54 AM madbrain is offline

I took a lot of shots today with my K200D. About 1300. I am still sorting through all of them. These are what I think are my best after taking one full pass. I am posting them in chronological order.
All of them were taken with the DA 18-250 zoom.

That guy puzzled me which is why I shot him. I am not sure that it has anything to do with the camera brand. But I knew that it would elicit a comment here. You took the bait

I missed the parade but I wandered around in front of the Civic Center for a couple of hours photographing characters in the crowds.
All shot with FA 35 f/2

Well there are some breasts and also not everyone is broadminded. The NSFW was put there to be on the safe side.

Not the finger, but my wrist was hurting at the end of the shoot during the parade. As a software engineer I first developed tendinitis in my right wrist at age 19. I have mostly dealt with it by switching to a good trackball and using my left hand for mousing. But periodically the wrist pain comes back. Yesterday was one of those days, after taking one shot every 12 seconds on average. It doesn't help that I play piano and harpsichord too and have been doing so a lot lately due to a recital last week.
I wished they had a left-handed camera for a moment during the shoot ;-) If anyone made it, it would probably be Pentax. Maybe with the vertical grip there is a way to shoot with the left hand, but I haven't tried it yet.
That makes for my crazy new product idea of the day : left-hand + vertical battery grip
