Renault World Series 2009, Silverstone

Renault World Series 2009 was being held at Silverstone race track over the last weekend.
I managed to be there y'day and tried my hands on some track day shooting. All pics shot with DA 50-200 and it turned out to be pretty decent.

Shame about the fence in front of the grand stand, could not avoid it on one part of the track. Also this is my first attempt on panning.

TAv 1/100 f18 ISO400 160mm

Half way through, I moved to the other end of the track and managed to get very few.

All C&C welcome and any tips on improving on panning, pls do share

Cheers

Number three looks great. Could you rotate it?

#3 is the best, I would not rotate it, it gives it a more "dynamic mood".

Thanks everyone, glad you liked it and my first attempt at panning wasn't cr@p.

It can be rotated, but I did shoot that pic by tilting the camera.

Very good images for first time panning, that lens is pretty good and has always been under rated. The last picture is good with or without the bloke. :-)
