Slow panning bif shot
Posted by danielchtong, 08-08-2009, 03:01 AM danielchtong is offline

I used to shoot panning shots of fast bird in high shutter speed resulting in clear background with hardly any sense of motion.

Here is my attempt at 1/250s with my A300mmF4

I hope I can do some sport car scene later

This is a typical my non-panning shot with very high shutter speed over 1/1500s

You're getting good at this Daniel. No simple task with a manual focus 300mm lens.

Both are great but panning shot wins for me! I can feel the movement.

Tom

Thanks. You have a K300mm . Very equal to the A300mmF4 except maybe the wt. If you can handle the wt that is a good one
