Last week we had a bit of computer disaster at our remote practice. I tried to talk the tech through the problem, but in the end had to jump in car and drive 400km to fix it (I must sort out some remote desktop software.....)
The good thing is that I grabbed my camera on the way out as it was an overnighter.

Here are some shots from around
Port Augusta, South Australia
Starting with the wharf at around sunset - sadly it got bit too cloudy for one of those desert sunsets.....
and the wharf from a bit lower.....
Port Augusta is also home to a coal fired power station - and being a still night, I tried to get shot ..... really needed a longer lens for this.....
But on the way home the next morning, I headed past Horrock's Pass - and the sun shone....... the Flinders Ranges really are impressive!
as is the pass
and the descent back to the plain
and of course on the plain looking back.....
Next time I'll pack a longer lens.....
Thanks for looking -
