Saw this Miata at work in the parking lot and it made me laugh....what a cool idea.....hope it gives you a chuckle too......someone has a good sense of humor...

I wonder if those teeth oscillate up and down while the car accelerates...

Its probably not happy with the new Mazda grill treatment on the latest Miata.

Neat shot - I've seen these "teeth" in catalogs but never on a car on the street. I had a red '95 (without the mods) like this one; I'm now on my third Miata, an '04 Mazdaspeed, also red.

Thank goodness they call them MX-5 in Australia, Miata what a God awful name for a cute car.

They're also labled MX-5 here in the States, but the company still advertises them as "Miata" - which IIRC is an archaic german term for "buddy" or "pal".

Frankly, I like the name "Roadster" used in Japan, Mazda's home market.
