A Bermuda Engagement
Posted by bwield, 09-01-2009, 06:56 PM bwield is offline

I proposed to my girlfriend of 6 years on my recent trip to Bermuda.
We will probably have some proper shots done, but while we were away I took a couple of her with her new little ring.

I'll post a few here, and in another thread I'll ask about which processing works best for a few pictures.

Comments and Critiques appreciated!

Nice ideas.
You must be proud of that ring.
I like the first two, particularly your PP work, but then after that I'm left wishing for more of her being the subject than the ring.

Fun

I loved the sense of fun and joy in these photos. Congratulations! I've been 40 years in harness now.

Congratulations, nice fiancee, nice ring and nice pictures.

Now I'm sure you could have got a K-7 and a few Limiteds for the price of that ring. Where's your sense of priority man?

Very nice shots and a beautiful fiance, congrats!

As a metal detecting type I'll give one bit of advice.... Tell her not to wear the ring to the beach...

OK they are interesting. But since no one else asked I will. (You knew I would)

Why get married and spoil a great friendship?

Why buy the cow when the milk is free?

OK I am done.

For now.

I think.

Congratulations BTW

Yeah but you will do a lot to make her happy. And even if you are a perfect husband remember she will still complain because she has nothing to complain about. Remember, the happier she is the less miserable you are.

All kidding aside Congrats.

December will be the 29th anniversary of the death of this bachelor.
