Thanks, Grant. I don't know what her cargo was. Galveston Bay, our sailing waters, is bisected by the Houston ship channel, so it's not unusual to see as many as a dozen of these big merchantmen during the course of an afternoon.

Very minimalist and well composed. It takes a little daring to compose shots where one element is juxtaposed against the rest of the scene. Some might consider it empty, but I think the tension is between the size and the colours.

It is big, indeed, Heinrich. Houston is one of 3 or 4 biggest ports in the US, so we see alot of these babies on the channel.
