I went for a wander today but didn't spend long out as my favourite wetland is now dried and cracked from our ongoing drought. One of the long time land owners adjacent to this wetland told me they have never seen it like this before. All the waterfowl are gone of course and there are few other birds to be seen. Here are a few shots...

Thanks guys, the first shot actually had some very distracting background leaves in both top corners which made me sweat over the pp to get rid of them.
