Landscape Morning on the Lake

I'm still processing images from my K20D, and I came across a number of really nice ones from one particular morning that I feel like sharing. The day's forecast cancelled work, so I rode my bike down to the pier and got a few snaps before heading to a beach with shale cliffs, where I caught some excellent light. Sadly, the day soon turned to rain and stayed that way... but I was content with what I got.

Nice sunbeam captures, particularly #1 - has potential.
Strong clarity, a bit of dodging on the ships and colour contrasting, and it would be a keeper.

Do you mean clarity like that one adjustment in Lightroom(?). I'm a bit limited software-wise, but I'll see what I can do... the dodging is easy enough. Not entirely sure about what you mean with the color contrast, either. If you describe, I'll see what I can do with what I have to get the effect...
