I really like number 1, Heinrich, with the contrast of the almost festively clothed people against the stark background.

Tanks Jer, it was a guided tour onto the glacier. It is the only way that they will allow you past the ropes. Or else one can take the bus and Snowcoach further up onto the glacier, since the weather was so lousy I did not do that this time.
