Fun with my M50 1.7
Posted by ve2vfd, 10-02-2009, 01:16 PM ve2vfd is offline

I went out shooting with my M50 1.7 yesterday... It was gray and raining so there are no spectacular shots... here are a few that were OK.

First a snapshot... an old French 2CV I saw in a parking lot when going to the store. A very uncommon car in these parts.

Next, the last of the summer wildflowers on a vacant lot... nothing special, but I like the bokeh.

Finally my favorite... the domed spires of a local Russian orthodox church. Of course the sky is gray, I'll go back to take this pic again with a blue sky on a sunny day.

It's my fav because this is a crop of this photo taken from across the street... it really shows the sharpness of the M50 1.7

What a sharp copy you've got there.
Well done getting these results.
A fine lens.

Thanks Ash, I've had it for a while but never played much with it...

Of course the K20d's green button almost always overexposes with it, so I generally take 2-3 shots of everything bumping up the speed. A small price to pay for such a nice lens!
