Glad my Pentax is weatherproof!

Here's a few more from the SA Pentaxian shoot in the rain under Mt Lofty....

MattC has posted some great images from his Vivitar 105, but I had my Sigma 28-70mm f2.8 DF - and was reluctant to change it with the dampness about....but I think it held up pretty well. Here's a few samples (click to view larger images)....

The same conifer as MattC

and just to prove it was damp....

and this camelia......I think the water droplets lift this nicely....

BTW - its supposed to be spring - so things are budding.....

my better half tells me this is relative of rhubarb - but very large....

and the water was flowing - a rare sight in drought ridden Southern Australia...

And finally - a black swan - with water drops on its back if you look closely.....

Thanks for looking

Cheers

Good series Chris, especially considering the weather - so much for Spring!

I particularly like the third photo - must have been the brief few seconds that the sun came out!

Thanks Ash appreciate the feedback. The pictures don't show it, but our cameras got a tad wet on the first walk about........

Cheers Matt - your right about the lack of spring! I recall we had about 1 minute of sunshine in total I like photo 3 too - just seemed to capture the day!

Cheers
