Nature Nature Meets Man (and loses)

Came across this coyote on my way to work the other day who had apparently succumbed to disease or injury and was lying on the side of the road in the light rain.

Thought it was sad that it found its last days wandering in the man-made environment rather than in the woods where it probably should have been, no doubt, due to the increasing development of townhouses up in the surrounding highlands around us.
