.....and here are a few images of it. I decided to just use verticals in this post, might post some horizontals later.

Great shots as usual Heinrich. I really envy you, I'd love to be close enough to the Rockies to be able to take trips to photograph the mountains as much as you do. But at least your photos help me to remember the mountains from the few times I've had a chance to get out west in the past. Thank you.

Heinrich, are all of your days in paradise? Wonderful shots, as is always the case. Thanks for posting them.

Awesome shots, crisp and clear. I have to look up Kanaskas now. Lovely indeed.

A short dirve for you for sure - looks like a much clearer day than in the icefields. Well done very sharp shots.

Hi Jer and thank you. It was pretty close to paradise, couldn't have picked a better day but was pretty pooped by the end of the day. Hiking at higher altitudes is not as easy as it used to be.

Take care,

Thanks JMR, The turn off to Kananaskis Country (highway 40) of Highway #1 is west of Calgary just before Canmore.

Take care,

Hi Dave and thank you, it was a very nice day but totally cloudless until the afternoon. But what would we do if things were always perfect.

Take care.

Makes me miss living in Golden BC, The Yoho, Banff area is great for scenic shots!
