Sit. Feast on life.

Not really about food but it's one of my favorite poems:

The time will come
when, with elation
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror
and each will smile at the other's welcome,

and say, sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread. Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you

all your life, whom you ignored
for another, who knows you by heart.
Take down the love letters from the bookshelf,

the photographs, the desperate notes,
peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit. Feast on your life.

Derek Walcott

Very nice arrangement. 2 and 3 are my favorites.
The OOF near end of the chopstick on the 4th one bugs me a little.

Was this commissioned for a restaurant, or just for your entertainment?

Thank you.

2 of them were commissioned, 1 was a portfolio shoot and the other was during travel.

It's kinda funny though, the in-focus end of the chopstick is the one that bugs me a little. It steals a bit of attention/spotlight from the beef in focus.

Yummy shots. 2nd and 3rd ones look a tad bit warm to me, but you know what, I'd still eat it!

Now that's some fine food photography.
Well composed and executed.
Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. That was exactly what I was going for, "perfect" white balance, or perfection in general, is boring at times and non-expressive for me :P
