Golden Gate Bridge at night
Posted by xs400, 10-11-2009, 10:13 PM xs400 is offline

I haven't been able to shoot much recently - I am recovering from a motorcycle accident and only have limited use of my left arm. On Saturday, on the way home from visiting my brother, my wife was nice enough to drive me down to Fort Baker on the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge to take a few shots. A high fog was just coming in. Exposures were about 13 sec.

Thanks Jim. I am trying to go out and take some pics, but I still have pain in my left shoulder. My broken shoulder blade did not heal up correctly and I only have limited use of my left arm. I may have to have surgery. I'll know more later this week. Thanks for asking.
Frank

Hey Frank.
Glad to see you up and about.
Last one's my fave as well - the reflection adds a moody element to the night scene.
Well done.

Nice series Frank great to see ya out shooting a bit. Hope all heals well and if you need surgery it's day surgery and the recovery will have you snapping away by thanksgiving.

Great stuff, Frank. My daughter starts a postdoc at Stanford in January, so I suspect I'll be in the Bay Area occasionally - hope I can get a chance to try and take pictures as good as these.

Super job.

Thanks Jer, BTW, I live about 10 miles from Stanford. If you are ever in the area, I'd be happy to meet up with you.
