While it was Pentax World Day yesterday, I also decided it would be my FA 77 ltd Day. I haven't gotten a chance to really give the lens a workout since I purchased it, so I decided I would use the day to permanently tether it to my camera, no matter the situation. I was lucky that it was not only a great weekend to be a Pentaxian, but I was also invited to an incredible Turkey Fry in Upstate New York. C&C always welcome!

The turkey after surgery. The patient did not survive the procedure, which was welcome news to all concerned.

A delicious Yodel cake my girlfriend and middle son baked

A selection of after dinner drinks included some White Dog (I think it's called moonshine in some parts). Our host was from Kentcky, so we sampled some of this young whisky, then went straight to some great bourbon.

Some after dinner cigars were offered, too (I stuck to my Marlboro's. A habit I am desperately trying to kick......)

And of course there was lots of chocolate treats for the kids while theadults puffed away at cigars and drank! (Some of us should have stuck to cupcakes and Pepsi - I am getting too old to drink!!!!)
