I spent some time down near a local trout pond today and got these shots.

This is what happens when I finally get the head in focus....

The first head in the water shot is perfectly timed.
Looks like he's targeting a fish in the last one.
A CP-L and some warmer colour adjustments would have improved the look of these shots, but well done.

Thanks Ash, I shot these with the white balance set on tungsten light after forgetting to adjust it from some jewelry shots I'd done the night before. Some day I'll remember to take a moment before I wander off shooting and actually set up the camera properly....

The first one is pretty cool the way the water has not closed in around his head. Great timing! BTW, the color balance doesn't bother me since it sorta looks like a late cloudy day.

Thanks Mike, yes it was a cloudy overcast late afternoon with snow flurries.
