Pentaxium: Took Only Five Shots
Posted by rparmar, 10-13-2009, 05:06 AM rparmar is offline

Most times I treat Pentaxium as a photography day and really enjoy myself, often traveling out into the countryside with my family, taking many shots. But this time, practical details made it almost impossible to even use my camera. I had five minutes while running errands and shot off five frames, two of which were just repeats for slightly different framing. Here are the three results from Pentaxium 2009.10.10.

Antique Street Silver

Reflections from the window and silver of the street behind combine with transmission through the window and glass beyond of the street the other side of the store. I like the layers in this.

Back Alley

A typical combination of damp peeling buildings. Limerick is not a pretty place.

Alley Cat

This black cat is a part of secret Limerick. It is almost obscured by pipes and store signs, one of which I had to tightly crop off the right of the image. But it still guards the way into Augustinian Lane. Despite the eyes, I find it a friendly presence.

I really enjoy the second one - the various colors give the buildings "personality".

Nice ones. Well processed.
Like the first two.
Detail in the first and colour arrangements in the second.
