Battle of Cedar Creek (2009) - Reenactor Portraits
Posted by MRRiley, 10-21-2009, 06:29 AM MRRiley is offline

Portraits of some of the reenactors at the 2009 Battle of Cedar Creek reenactment in Middletown, VA. Due to the sheer number of shots and the color/sepia treatments I am just posting the thumbnails in this thread with links to larger versions. Just click the photo you are interested in to see it larger. Sepia conversion done using PS3's B&W conversion with a tint applied.

These are all great Mike.
The sepia versions are excellent and well suited IMO.
But I do like the colour versions of 9 and 10.
Awesome, mate.

Thanks Ash and Jer... Feels like a time machine when you're walking around the camps.

Mike, dude, those are great! I bet you sell 'em without much effort (assuming those guys got your business card). For me, the sepia ones are it - I didn't even look at the large versions of the color shots.

Thanks Mel! I'm very pleased. And I won't rub it in that you didn't come out... much! LOL

Thanks Josh! I certainly hope some of them sell. I handed out a few business cards, but like an idiot I managed to leave most of them at home. I just finished putting the entire collection on my zenfolio site and plan on posting notices in the reenactor forums and e-mailing the participating organizations. I know what you mean about the color versions. These guys are all about "old timey" so I expect the sepia versions to be preferred.
