All this guy wanted to do is go back out in the boat and get some more ducks. while his owner went to the get the truck and trailer.

I looked at your pic for quite a while. As a long time duck hunter it brings back many memories. Your shot does capture the alertness a dog still has at the end of the day. Good work.

Very nice how the dog's body position mirrors the slant of the grasses...

Thanks Jim, had I brought the rest of my gear that day, neither of us use would have had this shot. I'm pretty sure you were over on the dike shooting that wild cloud formation with sun bouncing in and out over the golden reeds. Seeing that dog that day did bring back some great memories though, it was almost like seeing a ghost.
