Fall Birch

Was down at the lake side taking outdoor senior portraits for the son of a friend of ours. While waiting for them to arrive, I scouted around for good spots. I came across this lone birch and couldn't resist!

A flurry of colour.
Nicely framed - slightly wider and the tree leaves would not have been cropped.
But well done.

Thanks folks! Ash...you are right, I did notice that crop of the right side of the tree. Unfortunately I didn't notice it till I got home and I took the shot pretty quickly. I was trying to get the tree in the right 1/3 of the image and not paying attention to the crop. Sad thing is that I had a bit of zoom left on the lens...I could've fixed it on site.

Thought I already posted for this image. Must have shifted sites too quickly, Anyway, a wonderful image. That band of light at the bottom is icing on an already beautiful scene. I love trees, especially birches!
