JIM. I always enjoy your comments on other people's photos. These photos are the proof in the pudding that you know what you are talking about and can prove it! Thanks for posting these. Also, part of the draw of Great Blue Herons, for me, is they are hard to photograph because they are so darned skittish, which makes for a bigger challenge. Cabellas even sells a GBH decoy to use while duck hunting to prove to the ducks that there are NO humans around.

I agree with you on the Herons. It has taken a lot of patience to get close to these guys and I have a lot of photos of them flying away. Appreciate your kind words. JIM
