Streets One for the Fans

Taken yesterday (02/11/09) in Aldgate, London.

Anyone who knows of and has listened to Nirvana will get the connection in this photo. It pertains to one of their tracks off their second album, and i've used the name of their song for the title of this photograph.

It amazed me to find this scene, I had to record it. Also, it constantly amazes me, how coincidences like this occur on the street.

Pauly - Maybe some of the viewers are just folks like me who - while we listen to Nirvana on occasion - don't get the hidden meaning, and have been waiting all day to see if someone would "connect the dots" for us.
Then again, maybe it's just ME that's a little slow!

It's a cool shot, buddy. I don't know the hidden meaning (if it were a reference to Miles Davis, John Coltrane or Mike Brecker, I might do better), but I like the photo.

I personally am rather use to seeing 80 people look at my posts before receiving only one comment. Don't take it personally.

By the way, the image needs more Alice In Chains in my opinion though it did cause me to spin Nevermind once yesterday.

I don't think the liquid on the sidewalk is defined well enough for the suggestion of title. I think many of us see the "November" and look briefly just above that and find no other interest.
Just my opinion since you are asking.

This is a photograph from the street and therefore a document and report of what was seen, street photography cannot be stylised.

As far as fans go, I seen Nirvana Dec. of 1993 in Houston.

They were the mutts nuts, Brian. Mudhoney, Pearl Jam, Melvins, Soundgarden, Mother Love Bone, Dinosaur Jr and Alice In Chains etc. I was into that whole scene, I never had anytime other than to Grungerock.
