Here are some samples from my shoot with Actress, Singer and Artist Joséphine de La Baume for VOGUE Brasil RG. For the November issue 2009.

Want to thank:

Freddy Baby Paris for the wonder retouching job she did

Christophe Durand for his perfect Make-Up as usual

Sebastien Quinet for his creativity as a Hair Stylist and some fun photo captures

Yasmine Sterea, VOGUE Brasil stylist, who was incredibly positive during the highly charged ambiance. Thanks for your Cool.

…and Josephine for her warmth and hospitality.

For those of you wanting to know the gear I used. I shot with the Pentax K20D, Pentax 16-50 f/2.8 lens a couple of Multiblitz Compact Lite 200 watt second mono block strobes.

Well congrats again for another fine accolade, Ben.
A fine image with interesting elements to it.
Credit to you for bringing Pentax again to the spotlight. (Does a plug for Pentax go with the caption for this image? )

Thanks for the kind words. Although no longer sponsored by Pentax and am not always using Pentax now, I did for this shoot, thus the well deserved credit.

Ben

Are you listening Pentax?

They may be listening, but are they seeing?

Pentax has been experiencing some focusing issues lately, but I think they have cleared away some of the fog. Expect a much sharper company soon!

Ben, again I've forwarded your blog to my daughter, who is developing quite an appreciation of these things, and how they are done. I don't know whether she'll become a photographer, but I think your work serves as an inspiration. (At least in the low end of cameras, she's a rabid Pentaxian. And she shoots with a Spotmatic )

I'm pleased that your daughter is inspired to express herself through photography.

Best Wishes
Ben
