I few shots with a K100D, M50/1.7 with a Vivitar MFTC. Maybe not as good as a dedicated macro, but not bad!

Very nice photos. I use the same set up for macro work, except I use the A 1.7. As you say, not as good as a dedicated Macro, but those shots are very sharp.
