A few quick snaps of my newest god-daughter and her proud mommy at a reception held after her Christening. Enjoy!

#1 - Is that a camera?
#2 - Why, yes it is! ME! ME! ME!!!
#3 - Mommy, get out of this shot, this is my close-up!
#4 - Thanks!

Cute like always Alvin

The only thing that I'd like better is the photo description put right above the picture instead of at the top.
I had to scroll back and forth for every picture, although I did get to see them over and over again that way

Stu - lol. That's the problem with attaching a bunch of photos vs posting them as images in the text. Perhaps a suggestion for Mo?

Just looking at these again and I can't help but chuckle. She's only a few months old and she can recognize a camera and pose for it

She is a She and can see herself mirrored in the lens.
It's 'hardwired' into the female of the species to be obsessed with their own reflection.
Makes for great pix though.

P.S. It's a great aid in a portrait situation to have a full length mirror or two positioned close to the camera for the subject to study her/himself in during a shoot. Just get them to swing their eyes to the camera at the last moment.

Great shots Alvin, and great captions too. Of course it is always easier when you have a cute and cooperative model!

They haven't seen these shots yet so I'm hoping that they will be just as pleased as you are! Thanks!

Wow - that comment makes me wonder - only at only a few months. Surprising, eh? Thanks for the tip about the mirror! I'll keep that in mind for my next outing.

Thanks! You should have seen her though - almost all day looking for camera flashes to "pop" and before you are ready to shoot she's already trying to pose! I'm sure the others there were getting great shots too because she was so co-operative. She's a very happy baby!

Thanks, Salty! I don't think I can be as creative as you though. I'm still looking at the 4th title in your Name the Roses series I still keep laughing. Great work!

Well you did a good job though Alvin , Taking photo of kids is not easier because they move at the speed of light :-)

I have two nieces that love to pose but I always try to catch them unnotice :-)

Hi Alvin, that's one cute baby who know's how to perform for the camera. You did really well capturing all her expressions. As someone else said I also have found it quite difficult at times with young children; by the time you press the shutter their expression has moved on.
