Thanks for answering my question

we should consider somewhere a means of the OP indicating with a final post, that his question has been answered.

Many times you can see threads that get "hijacked" or go away from the origonal question raised by the OP.

It wouold be nice to see whether in the posts the OP has gotten what he wanted, even if the thread continues.

it is a good idea ... although I usually post on my thread if i have received the info I was after. But i know what you mean .. sort of like a flag notification that the requested has been answered.

If I can find an easy way to integrate a "thank-you" hack for the site, I will. What I suggest you do, however, is just edit your original post and add a message indicating your question has been answered.

Alternately, I can add a "solved" prefix to certain forums, but since none of our forums are dedicated to Q&A, I don't know how useful that would be.
