even tho i've been ripped off here already i don't have bad feelings for the board.
HEY??? If i've forgotten you, please PM me. i always try to leave FB as soon as the $$ clear. that's all a buyer is required to do. here and on ebay.. i see AH sellers that don't post until the buyer leaves it.
Glad you deal that way. Haven't recieved feedback from 3 out of the last 4 sellers, for a total of 5 out of 15. 66% isn't all that great a thing (although one member did leave double feedback, lol), especially since all but two (one of which left the double) was received only after leaving feedback and requesting it.
I think The Marketplace works very well. All of my transactions have been simple and straightforward, with all of my silly questions answered quite intelligently.
Since i've been the buyer for all of mine, I leave feedback the same day after I received the items, usually within an hour of when I open the box. Each item has been precisely as described by the seller.
This works out for me, alot better than an online auction site, which will not be named here.
How does Steve Beswick leave feedback for me when the post is closed?
I made a fast paypal payment and he wants to leave a feedback? [SOLD] M 50mm f 1.4
Hello! I cannot leave feedback. It is telling me, "There was an error in your deal details - make sure your URL is correct and all fields are filled out!" Well, all the blanks are filled and I copied and pasted the deal URL from the original post which moved to the "sold items" area. It is telling me it is incorrect. What can I do? Thank you for your help.
Are you sure the feedback link you entered points to a vaild thread in which either you or the other party involved made a post in? If you have further trouble, please either PM me or post in the site help forum.
If you want to sell a lens, how do you know whether the buyer is reputable and will not rip you off. In other words, after you receive payment, and send the lens to the buyer, what happens if he claims he never received the item and wants his money back? Also, what happens if he erroneously claims that the product he received from you is broken?
Any feedback from disreputable buyers and tips for selling?
Sorry, I am confused. I posted a for sale thread with 4 items, how can I leave feedback on the individual items as they are sold? Does the buyer need to post a reply in the thread?
Thanks, Bruce
That's the ideal way to do it, yes- by clicking the link in the buyer's reply.
If the buyer hasn't posted in the thread, then he or she will need to leave you feedback first, and then you can return the feedback directly from your own feedback page by clicking the appropriate icon.
All this is explained in my [newly updated] thread in the site news forum, so please have a look.
