Where's the Lego post by Morbo?

What happened to one of the most popular threads on the forum?

It's no longer in "Post Your Photos" - (I just found it) now it's in something to do with games????? For lack of a better term, that's *strange*!!

It was moved there because of the new format for 'Post your Photos'.

Very good idea Gary - this makes sense for threads that are continually posting new images into it. I was wondering when that might happen...

I can't stake claim on it, that was Adam after a discussion with M80 about the Pet a Day thread.

Actually it was me but Adam told me he'd give me more attachment space if I said it was him.

Risking getting annoying, I want to have my voice heard here too. I feel Davids Lego Man tread and my Men at Work thread both don't belong in the Games subtread, but in the PYP thread. Having our first post on top all the time on all pages is not that much of a problem I think, and the same holds for the Macro thread of Grzehoofr, the PPG Rejects thread and the Street shots thread of James (which were not moved for non-obvious reasons, but please, let them where they are!). That's probably different for threads where others are invited to add photos in.

Unless this discussion leads somewhere I can't foresee now, this will be my last comment on this. And I like this forum very much, whereever my thread will end up. Thanks Adam and the crew of Mods!

can't there be a much simpler solution.

Mini challenges and games seems to be a good spot for continuing threads, but why not just add one more thing to the name, make it Mini challenges, games, and ??????

For ????? I am thinking photostories, or something similar, then everyone will know where it is moved to, along with all the other threads mentioned here.

I like Lowell's suggestion and would go one sep further - a sub form that contains all these ongoing threads. PYP is getting huge these days with so many members posting (there was also talk of seperating PYP into several secitons which I also like).

Just my $0.02 Cdn ($0.0172 USD)

Good that you asked, Chip.
I was looking for this thread too but couldn't find it.
I thought it got banned because of its popularity close to the new K-7

That's exactly what I was intending to change, Lowell. I'll take care of that within a few minutes.

Before you guys get all worked up over why the threads were moved, please take a moment to understand the technical reasons for why I had to do so.

Perhaps something like "Ongoing Photo Projects" would be a better category. The theme and series threads are hardly "games" although they could be considered "challenges".

I've now renamed Mini-Challenges & Games to Mini-Challenges, Games, and Photo Stories. I won't be making a separate forum category for 3 threads
