I'd really like to see some data about forum contributors:

Age
Gender
Location - by GMT, country, whatever

I'm impressed by the diversity of the contributors here. I've no interest in associating the data with individual users, but am interested in the general characteristics.

Is such data available anywhere?

As of January, this is the geographical distribution of forum users:

-42.0% U.S.
-11.4% Canada
-5.9% U.K.
-5.3% Australlia
-2.5% Germany
-32.9% Other

Information on age can be found within the "how old are you" poll in the General Talk section, although it isn't necessarily representative of the entire forum population.
