where is the mass pm function for the group owners?

Is it only the person who started the group who can mass PM?

Bay Area usergroup for example was started by Thang who hasn't been active for over a year. What happens in a case like that, can you go into the database and transfer ownership to another user?

Yes, only group owners (and myself) can use the mass-pm feature. If needed, I can transfer ownership to another member if a current group owner has been inactive.

It would be nice if the owner of the group could select a tick box to allow mass PM's from the rest of the participants of a social group.
