I had intended to participate, too, but 9 pm (I think that's when it was) on a Friday night after a loooong week... it just slipped my mind. Okay, the glass of wine probably helped. Being on Friday also meant that, with my busy week, I hadn't really thought about what I might shoot - I'm not good with nighttime/indoor shooting so it's not like I could just grab the camera and go, I needed to think a little.

I hope there will be a next time, I'd like another chance! I think it's a pretty neat idea. I'd prefer to see it fall on Saturday/Sunday, but then I work ordinary weeks. Definitely shifting the index time a little so fewer people have to get up in the middle of the night would be a good idea. Sorry, it's a neat idea but I wouldn't have gotten up at 3 am to take a photo!

I really like the idea of seeing what people are doing at a given moment across the globe. The photos taken at work were quite interesting - I wonder if anyone would go for taking a photo at, say, 2 pm local time all in one day? Perhaps my workplace is a little more lax about that sort of disruption, though...

Good on ya everyone who did remember to take a snap...

Perhaps it was because of the time and many people were involved in some rather mundane things, myself included. I really debated whether or not to post the shot I did because I was in a restraunt attending a meeting. I just turned on my camera and took a shot at the right time or as close as I could get. I knew from the get go it wasn't going to be a work of art. I was hoping to see more pictures also. The idea is great as it covers a 24 day all around the world in a single instant.

I was counting down the days to this, and by the time Friday night rolled around, the time had passed and I realized it was too late to "sync." I missed it by an hour, and was pretty bummed, especially since I had planned all week to shoot. I definitely think we should try this again.

I had every intention of not participating. I should of been stuck inside a hospital taking radiographs on non pentax equipment. But my fuel system on my car went down and so I was stuck at home. So only by bad luck did I get a chance to participate. :-)
