[SOLD] Tamron 28-300mm AF f/3.5-6.3 XR LD model A06P macro

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Tamron 28-300mm AF f/3.5-6.3 XR LD model A06P macro

Item Description
Comes with box, lens hood, lens cap, and lens cap leash.

This is a great lens that I used throughout my European trip. No scratches and great condition.
I will post pictures of the lens later.

The only reason I am selling it is to get an 18-250 which is costlier.

Here are some pics taken with the lens on my K200D :

No, I don't have any insider news at all ! And I am staying with Pentax. I absolutely love my K200D (bought may 28). I bought a bunch of lenses early on to cover a large range.

But I found on my recent trip to Europe with the DSLR where I took four lenses (this one, Sigma 10-20, DA 18-55 AL II, and DA 50-200) that I prefer not to change lenses too often - and I found myself doing that more often than I wanted in the field. So, a zoom with the largest reach is just what I want. I really like this Tamron 28-300, except that it is not quite wide enough. If it was, I would have to change to the Sigma less often.

I am buying the Pentax 18-250, and it doesn't come cheap. That's why I sold my DA 18-55 AL II, my DA 50-200, and now this one. The proceeds of these 3 will pay for my 18-250. That will be my primary lens.

The only other lens I own is the Sigma 10-20. One of my coworkers who owns a Nikon had to order one after he saw my pics with it. I am definitely keeping that one. These 2 lenses will give me a range of 10 - 250, with some overlap between 18 and 20.

I am losing the 250 - 300 range, but for >250mm I want a telescope anyway I have nothing else to sell to buy one at this time however. I have to consider whether to use my savings for that - I think I'll wait a bit .

As for the Pentax-M 50mm 2.0 I am selling, its purchase was a cheap experiment, and as I stated in the other listing, manual exposure lenses just aren't for me, but I'm sure someone else can use it.
