Vivitar 2x Macro Teleconverter P/K-A
Item Description
Everyone should know what this is by now. Attach a standard 50mm lens to it and you get an effective 100mm lens capable of 1:1 macro. You can even attach other focal lengths for increased magnification. For example, I've used it with a Sigma Super-Wide II 24mm to get to 1:0.35 macro.
It features multicoated optics for excellent image quality. Furthermore, this is the P/K-A version that will allow you to control aperture through the camera's dials, for increased ease of use. And before somebody asks, no, it doesn't allow autofocus (which is mostly useless in macro anyway).
It's in great shape. Externally I'd give it a 9.5 out of 10, just because the mounts have some light usual marks from putting lenses on and off. As for the optics, definitely 10 out of 10; they are clear, with no marks, scratches or fungus.
It comes with both caps, of course, and the photos are of the actual TC being sold (and I just realised I didn't take a pic of the top cap, which I can assure you is included).

This is well worth the price. If you have a decent A series 50mm to 135mm lens, this does a great job as a macro. Plus the way the helicoid works, it's a breeze to focus.
Of course the lens doesn't need to be A series bt it's a bonus with exposure control.
Man, where were you a couple months ago? I bought one of these off eBay for $118 + $10 shipping. I looked for a long time to find it. It's great fun with my KA 50mm 1.2 lens. TTL metering works great. Looks like yours is in really good shape.
