[SOLD] Sigma AF 400mm F5.6 (Pentax)

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
[SOLD] Sigma AF 400mm F5.6 (Pentax)

Item Description
This is my duplicate 400mm Sigma (the one on the right). I love this lens. I use its twin to take pics of my kid's sports activities, it works very well IQ-wise. AF on my K10D is as good as the 50-200mm Pentax. Glass is clean and clear. Includes both lens caps and the original Sigma rigid/locking lens pouch. M.O. or PayPal OK. If using PayPal, lens cost is $185.40. Shipping additional and at cost via USPS PM unless desired otherwise (no DHL).

Very neat looking pair, but they're not really identical.

All PMs now answered. The right one is gray, the left one is black - only difference between the two lenses shown above. I will try to either take new sample pics with it this weekend or search for publishable pics I have, over the weekend, probably by Sunday noon.

Some more info based on questions I received:

- this is a non-APO version

- I do not see any dents or scratches beyond the normal thinner-than-hair usage surface marks here and there on the body

- the filter size is 72mm

- the aperture blades move smoothly

- the aperture ring turns as it should

- the lens works as it should in every way

- someone pointed out that I was new here (true). I have successfully sold and bought a lot of gear on rangefinderforum.com and on some on photo.net (as akptc), you can look me up there

This is a super deal! I had this lens a while ago and loved it! Fairly sharp and some CA, but nothing a little PP could not fix. Very small and light for a 400mm AF lens. Someone better buy it before I change my mind and buy it myself.

Thanks guys for the bumps. It really is a nice lens, it even works pretty well with my 1.5 and 2.0 teleconverters.
